Dr. Hatim holds the unique distinction of being the first male student to join our training program. From the moment he entered the institute, he stood out for his determination, maturity, and an unwavering commitment to learning. In fact, I have never seen any of my students to be so studious as Dr. Hatim. In every spare second, he could be found with a book in his hands — whether it was an ultrasound or radiology textbook. He made the most of every opportunity to learn, reading whenever he had a break in between patients or during lunch and tea breaks. His dedication was exceptional and truly inspiring.
Following his successful training, Dr. Hatim served at our institute for approximately fifteen years — a period marked by consistent excellence, collegiality, and deep dedication to patient care. His professionalism and diagnostic acumen made him not only a reliable member of our team but also a role model for those who came after him.
Dr. Hatim later pursued advanced specialization through DMRD training, further enhancing his skill set and academic credentials. Today, it is a matter of immense pride for us to see him serving as the Head of the Radiology Department in Kabul, Afghanistan, a role befitting his talent, experience, and leadership qualities.
His journey from being our first male student to becoming a leader in the field of radiology reflects his perseverance, integrity, and passion for medical excellence.
